With Bone Thugs-N-Harmony holding a low profile next their mid-'90s commercial tip off, members of the Cleveland-born gangsta tap crew focused on their solo careers. Bizzy Bone (natural Bryon Anthony McCane) became, in effect, the Ol' Dirty Bastard of the grouping, gaining more than notoriety for his increasingly bizarre media appearances and self-admitted do drugs and alcohol problems than for solo albums like Public speech production in Tongues or Alpha and Omega. Although Bizzy Bone's temperamental behavior had gotten him thrown out of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on several occasions, bandmate Layzie Bone (Steven Howse) coupled forces with him in 2005 for the duet project The Bone Brothers, featuring the unmarried "Hip Hop Baby." Both members continued with their solo careers following this record album, with Layzie Bone issue It's Not a Game later in 2005 and Bizzy Bone releasing Thugs Revenge in early 2006.

Iraq War Vet Talks About The Raid That Landed Him On The New York Times' Front Page

During the early days of the war in Iraq, 24-year-old Lorenzo Zarate helped confine one of Saddam Hussein's former security guards and found millions of U.S. dollars in the home of the former dictator's daughter. But it was a more routine raid that landed the quondam Army footslogger on the cover of The New York Times.

"There had been a bunch of roadside bombs going away off more or less us late, and an informant told us world Health Organization the guy wire was and where he lived," he said.
